Kike Hernandez Smashes Two Home Runs Sunday
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers super utility man Kike Hernandez had a fantastic day at the plate in Sunday's slugfest against the Mets. Hernandez started off the seven-homer game with a leadoff blast to left field, then crushed another to left field in the sixth inning. He finished the game 3-for-6 with a single, two solo HR, two RBI, and a strikeout. The 26-year-old has been surprisingly useful this season, posting a .232/.309/.470 slash line with 12 HR and 25 RBI in 205 plate appearances. With his multi-position eligibility, Hernandez is worth a look in deep daily points leagues if he can continue to contribute at the plate.
