3 years agoBoston Red Sox utility man Kike Hernandez has tested positive for COVID-19. He is experiencing symptoms, and will now miss some amount of game action. Fellow infielder Christian Arroyo was considered a close contact and was also placed on the COVID list. Infielders Yairo Munoz and Jonathan Arauz were recalled, and both started on Friday night. Those who test positive generally miss 10 days, but Hernandez may be eligible to return sooner, as he is vaccinated.
