5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder/outfielder Kike Hernandez will head into the playoffs scuffling at the plate. He has not homered since Aug. 26 and finished the month of September slashing only .169/.210/.203 over his last 59 at-bats. A hand sprain suffered two months ago apparently has taken all of the power out of the versatile player's bat, and he will serve mostly as a bench threat in the playoffs. Unless Hernandez gets hot, he will not be fantasy viable during the Dodgers playoff push.--Joey C - RotoBaller
