Kirk Cousins Cleared To Practice
2 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins was cleared to return to training camp practice on Wednesday after five days away from the team due to a positive COVID-19 test. He's expected to fill his normal role with the first-team offense in two joint practices with the San Francisco 49ers this week. Cousins said his symptoms were minimal. It's unknown if the 33-year-old veteran will play in the team's second preseason game against the 49ers this Sunday. Cousins was named to his third Pro Bowl in 2021 when he threw for 4,221 yards, 33 touchdowns and seven interceptions on 561 attempts over 16 games. In an offense that is expected to continue throwing the ball often, he'll be a low-end QB1/high-end QB2 in fantasy football leagues.
