Kirk Cousins Piles Up Garbage-Time Stats In Week 3
6 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins was 40-for-55 with 296 yards, a touchdown, and an interception in a 27-6 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Early in the game, his offensive line allowed strip-sacks on back-to-back possessions and from that point forward the Vikings were playing catch-up. Cousins was able to salvage his start in the second half as he began piling up meaningless completions when the game was already over. He tossed his only touchdown pass of the day to Kyle Rudolph in the waning minutes of the game. Cousins has a tough test against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, especially if his o-line plays as poorly as they did in Week 3.
