Kirk Cousins Plays Well Enough In Week 5
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 275 yards and a touchdown on 25-for-34 passing during the win over the Lions on Sunday afternoon. He also threw a pick. However, he still finished with a 73 percent completion percentage. Fantasy managers were hoping for more heading into this one. Still, it was the type of outing that most have come to expect from the 33-year-old over the years. After compiling eight scoring tosses during the first three weeks of the 2021 campaign, he has only two throughout his previous two contests. Nonetheless, he should continue to be classified as a suitable starting option in all formats, including in Week 5, despite a more challenging matchup on tap against the Panthers defense.
