Kirk Cousins Snaps MNF Curse With Two Touchdowns In Win
4 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 25 of 36 passes for 292 yards and two touchdowns in the team's 19-13 win over the Bears in Week 10. It wasn't pretty, but Cousins made some key throws on third down to bring the Vikings record to 4-5 on the season. The veteran passer came into the contest 0-9 in his career on Monday Night Football but found receiver Adam Thielen for a nifty one-handed catch for a touchdown to put the team on the board in the first quarter. Cousins found Thielen once again for a second score in the red zone to put the Vikings up for good in the second half. Cousins has spent the 2020 campaign on the fringes of fantasy relevance but will have a positive matchup next week against a vulnerable Cowboys secondary in Week 11.
