Kirk Cousins Draws Favorable Matchup In Week 5
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has all the makings to finish as a top option at the position in Week 5. Cousins has flown under the radar this season, for the most part, doing so despite stringing together some potent fantasy performances. The 33-year-old is currently in the midst of one of the best campaigns of his career, and his overall statistical numbers may improve upon the conclusion of Sunday's matchup against the Lions. He has played excellent against Detroit throughout the years, posting a 74.2 completion percentage to go along with 16 touchdowns and only one interception during seven total meetings against the division rival. Cousins' stock may increase even more if Dalvin Cook (ankle) can play, so fantasy managers should keep an eye on the running back's status leading up to kickoff. Nonetheless, even if Cook doesn't suit up, Cousins should continue to carry a must-start tag in nearly every fantasy format imaginable.
