3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver KJ Hamler (knee) tore his left ACL last September, but he said that he's ahead of schedule in his recovery and expects to be ready for Week 1. "I'm not back at 4.2 (-second 40-yard dash time) yet, but I'm getting there," Hamler said. "I'm back sprinting and I'm starting to get to more outdoor work — cutting, running — and also starting to get my endurance back up." The 22-year-old had 30 catches for 381 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie, but he played in just three games due to his injury last year and finished with five catches for 74 yards. All of Denver's pass-catching options become more attractive now that Russell Wilson is at quarterback, but Hamler should be left on the waiver wire to begin the year in most redraft leagues in a crowded receiver room that also includes Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
