Kolby Allard Allows Four Homers In Loss
3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Kolby Allard gave up quite a few long balls during Sunday's matchup with the Oakland Athletics. He went six innings, allowed five hits, four earned runs, three walks, and four strikeouts. Allard did not pitch well enough to earn the victory and will see his record drop to 2-6. Despite that, he's posting a 3.96 ERA and a 38/7 K/BB ratio over 43 1/3 innings in eight starts since moving into the starting rotation. He certainly could be a sneaky option for fantasy managers looking for some pitching help in the second half of the season.
