3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Kolby Allard appears to be getting into a groove on the mound. On Sunday, he notched his third straight quality start in a 7-4 victory over the Oakland Athletics. Allard went 6 1/3 innings, seven hits allowed, three earned runs, and two strikeouts on Sunday. He gave up a pair of home runs, but was able to limit the damage for the most part. He'll take a 4.88 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 79 strikeouts over 94 innings into his next outing versus the Boston Red Sox. This will be a tough matchup for Allard and he can be avoided for streaming purposes for that one.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
