5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Kolby Allard gave up two runs on four hits in five innings against the Astros Wednesday. Allard was wild in this one issuing a season-high four walks while only striking out two on the evening. Allard has shown some promise in his rookie year pitching to a 3.16 FIP which is much better than his actual ERA of 4.25 making him an interesting prospect going into next season. As for this season, Allard will make what could be his final start next Tuesday in a tough matchup at home against the Red Sox and is not a recommended fantasy option for owners vying for a championship.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
