3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Kolten Wong (calf) is expected to miss time and could be facing a stint on the injured list after reaggravating his calf injury on Thursday, according to Will Sammon of The Athletic. Manager Craig Counsell said that Wong is "back to square one" after missing three games earlier this week with the calf injury, and that a trip to the IL is under consideration now, especially with the close proximity to the All-Star break which would give him a little extra time to rest up. Counsell added that the team is waiting to see how he feels on Friday morning before a decision is made. Wong has dealt with some injuries this year, but when he's been on the field he's been a great fantasy player, slashing .294/.349/.490 with seven home runs, six steals, 20 RBI and 30 runs scored over 52 games. Keep an eye out tomorrow for updates on his condition.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
