4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Kolten Wong (oblique) left Thursday's game in the seventh inning after reaggravating his oblique, according to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com. Wong was held out of the lineup on Wednesday due to oblique tightness, but he returned late in the game for a pinch-hit appearance. After the game, manager Craig Counsell said, "The injured list is a distinct possibility, but we're not definite on it yet. We're going to see how he feels when he wakes up tomorrow. He still has pretty good strength, which is a good sign." Managers should pay close attention for updates on Wong's status over the next few days, and if he does land on the injured list it could lead to the Brewers calling up Dee Strange-Gordon, who had just signed a minor league deal with Milwaukee on Thursday.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
