3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Kolten Wong (oblique) could return from the 10-day injured list before the end of June, per manager Craig Counsell. The 30-year-old infielder was placed on the injured list with a strained left oblique last Friday. Counsell didn't give an official timetable but did mentioned that Wong could be activated before July 1. The former Cardinal was starting to heat up and had collected at least one hit in five of his last seven games before being shelved. He is slashing .280/.343/.441 across 178 plate appearances in 2021. Luis Urias has been leading off recently and will continue to handle the keystone while Wong is sidelined.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
