5 years agoWong had a couple of chances to flip this game upside down but never came through. He instead gave us a strikeout hat trick and never reached base, nor moved over any valuable runners-on-base. Mike Foltynewicz has these guys numbers, and a lot of it had to do with his slider working so well. It got Wong to bite twice, striking out 2xin a combined eight pitches. This entire lineup struggled, but Molina and Ozuna did have two hits apiece. Wong just wasn’t able to do anything with those ducks on the pond, stranding five base runners throughout the game.--RotoBaller
