6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong and outfielder Harrison Bader hope that the power trend they established from the bottom of the order on Thursday with a combined three home runs continues. Wong said that he and Bader "told ourselves we’re not going to be satisfied with being the seventh and eighth hitters. I’m going to push him. He’s going to push me. And we’re going to try and see if we can bring some magic to the bottom of the lineup." Despite their position down in the order, both Wong and Bader should be owned in standard leagues. The Cardinals face Freddy Peralta and the Milwaukee Brewers today, which carries some promise in Friday's small DFS slate. Given his position, Wong is the better play.--Nathaniel Green
