4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong (side) was back among the starting nine for Thursday’s contest against Pittsburgh. Instead of his usual spot atop the order, Wong will bat ninth for the first time this season, putting a dent into his DFS intrigue. Through his first 40 games, Wong has compiled a .666 OPS, seeing his stolen bases numbers drop to just three steals after a 24-steal campaign last year. His presence allows Tommy Edman to shift over to the hot corner, thereby putting Matt Carpenter on the bench against southpaw Steven Brault.--Jesse Borek
