Kolten Wong Sitting Again Thursday
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Kolten Wong is out of the lineup for a second consecutive game on Thursday, according to MLB.com. There appear to be no injury concerns, but manager Craig Counsell is giving him extra rest before the postseason. The slick-fielding Wong is in the midst of his best offensive campaign, slashing .274/.338/.451 with 14 HRs, 11 SBs, and 70 runs across 113 games. It'll be Luis Urias who takes his spot at second and will leadoff. In his first full season, Urias has been productive at the plate, batting .248 with 22 HRs, 73 RBI, 75 runs, and an 11.3 BB% over 147 contests. If he's not already rostered, he's a good player to stream in almost every league.
