3 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant (back) and second baseman Brendan Rodgers (back) are both out of the starting lineup on Thursday against the Philadelphia Phillies. Bryant was scratched from the lineup on Tuesday with back soreness, so this will be his third straight game on the sidelines. Sam Hilliard will get the start in left field and bat seventh, while Alan Trejo is starting at second base and hitting eighth against Phillies right-hander Zack Wheeler on Thursday. Although Bryant doesn't yet have a home run with Colorado, he's hitting a solid .281 (16-for-57) with four RBI and 11 runs scored in his first 15 games. Fantasy managers will be hoping he can rejoin the starting lineup this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
