Kris Bryant Dealing With Hamstring Issue
3 years agoUpdating a previous report, Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant (hamstring) was removed from Wednesday's contest against the Phillies. The veteran was dealing with tightness in his right hamstring, and Patrick Wisdom subsequently replaced him in the top of the fourth inning as a result. With the All-Streak break up ahead, it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that the 29-year-old may not be in the lineup for the team's remaining contest in the series against Philadelphia and the three-game homestand against St. Louis, which begins on Friday. As a result, Wisdom could be seeing some more work moving ahead, especially if Bryant ends up taking a trip to the 10-day injured list.
