Kris Bryant Has Scheduled Day Off
3 years agoChicago Cubs infielder/outfielder Kris Bryant will have a scheduled day off on Tuesday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Bryant has been in a bit of a funk with just three hits over his last 38 at-bats and manager David Ross is hopeful that the day off will help Bryant get back on track. Bryant has cooled off in the month June, but was off to a scorching hot start prior to that. Bryant is hitting .261 with 15 home runs, 41 RBI and four stolen bases on the season. Infielder Eric Sogard will replace Bryant on Tuesday and bat eighth. Sogard should be avoided in a tough matchup against Brandon Woodruff.
