Kris Bryant Out Of Wednesday's Lineup
3 years agoChicago Cubs infielder/outfielder Kris Bryant (hand) will be absent from Wednesday's lineup with a bruised right hand. Bryant left Tuesday's game after being hit on the hand in his first at-bat, but X-rays after the game turned up negative. Bryant has been having a phenomenal season and is hitting .292 with 13 home runs and 39 RBI on the year. Bryant remains day-to-day and will be replaced in the lineup by outfielder Rafael Ortega. Ortega will play right field and bat sixth versus Mets ace Jacob deGrom and should be avoided in all formats.
