4 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant (illness, wrist) has returned to the starting lineup on Friday to face the Detroit Tigers. Bryant left Tuesday's contest early with a sinus issue and was then hit on the wrist when he was pinch hitting on Wednesday. Bryant told manager David Ross that he is good to go and didn't want any imaging done on his wrist. The upcoming free agent has been off to a wonderful start this season and is hitting .308 with nine home runs and 22 RBI. Bryant will bat second against Tarik Skubal on Friday, and fantasy managers should insert him back into their lineups.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
