6 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant is getting the leadoff duties for game two of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Bryant has 33 at-bats this season from the top of the lineup card. He has much better numbers in that spot as well. He has an impressive slash line of .625/.500/1.125. He has a slight drop in power, but his contact is much improved. Another improvement is his .479 wOBA. That's 161 points better than his normal role as the third hitter. Look for Bryant to have a big game, but don't expect him to stay as the leadoff hitter for long.--Blake Sullivan
