Kris Bryant To Primarily Play Left Field
3 years agoColorado Rockies manager Bud Black said that third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant will primarily play left field in 2022. Ryan McMahon should be the Rockies regular third baseman. With Bryant cemented in left field, Connor Joe will have to find at-bats in right field and at designated hitter. Bryant agreed to a seven-year, $182 million deal with Colorado on Wednesday after hitting a combined .265/.353/.481 with 25 home runs, 86 runs, 73 RBI and 10 stolen bases in 144 games for the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants in 2021. The 30-year-old four-time All-Star may no longer be in his prime, but he can absolutely help fantasy teams this season, especially in the hitter-friendly confines of Coors Field.
