6 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant (eye) will have Tuesday evening off. Bryant was hit in the face Sunday and suffered a laceration above his eye. Bryant is “fine,” according to manager Joe Maddon, but the Cubs wanted to give Bryant an extra day off. Bryant took batting practice Tuesday and could play Wednesday.
