6 years agoChip Ganassi Racing driver Kurt Busch ended up finishing in the sixth position in the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday. The elder Busch Brother has posted seven top-10 finishes, and he has been 12th or better in each of his past nine MENCS starts since a disappointing 25th-place showing at the Daytona 500 in his team debut. He improved eight positions after start 14th, although he failed to lead a lap for the seventh consecutive start. He'll try to keep up the strong string of finishes at Dover next Sunday. He has a win, nine top-5 showings and a 17.9 Average-Finish Position with 426 laps led in 37 Cup starts at the Monster Mile.--Daniel Dobish
