5 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Kyle Allen finished with 295 yards and an interception on 25-for-41 passing during the loss to the Saints in Week 17. After rookie quarterback Will Grier exited the game in the second quarter after suffering a foot injury, Allen took over but wasn't able to get anything going. The 23-year-old had flashes of efficiency this season, winning five of his first six starts before taking a loss in the next six-straight. He will enter the 2020 offseason as an exclusive-rights free agent, with a solid chance that he could be named the starter come Week 1 of next season if Cam Newton (foot) finds himself on a new team.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
