3 years agoKyle Busch qualified third for Sunday afternoon's race at Fontana just 0.211 seconds behind Austin Cindric. The younger Busch has excelled on the two-mile track in past years. He has seven top-three results in his last nine races. The high-wear course favors the Joe Gibbs Racing driver. Even two years ago, Busch battled his way to second place after starting 17th. He will not have to do that this year. The No. 18 car could also lead quite a few laps. His 2019 victory saw Busch lead 134 of the 200 laps.
