3 years agoKyle Busch comes off a weekend at Pocono where he finished second and then first. This put him up into the top five in the points race. Most will forget the Joe Gibbs Racing driver was contending at Sonoma before sliding back into fifth and led 12 laps at the shortened COTA race in Austin. He has fared quite well in road races overall in 2021 not named Daytona. It also does appear that the Joe Gibbs cars are catching up a little to the Hendrick cars. This is a trend to watch out for. In the meantime, Busch could lead 5+ laps and finish in the top-five again on Sunday. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
