4 years agoTexas Rangers pitcher Kyle Cody (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Saturday. Cody is dealing with right shoulder inflammation. Texas has recalled right-hander Josh Sborz, who had appeared in six games before being optioned, from the alternate site in a corresponding move. Cody struggled to a 7.94 ERA in 11 1/3 innings this season.--Tim Capurso
