Kyle Farmer Hits Two-Run HR In Win
3 years agoCincinnati Reds shortstop Kyle Farmer went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in a 12-3 win over the Atlanta Braves on Thursday. Farmer took Atlanta reliever Josh Tomlin deep in the sixth inning, giving him 11 homers on the year. After opening the year as a bench player, the veteran shortstop has been a surprising producer for Cincinnati this season, hitting .262 with 43 runs, 43 RBI, and two steals over 344 at-bats. Farmer is worth a look in deeper mixed leagues and NL-only fantasy formats.
