2 years agoCincinnati Reds infielder Kyle Farmer (neck) is back in the starting lineup on Tuesday against New York Mets right-hander Carlos Carrasco, starting at third base and hitting third in the batting order. Farmer was out of action on Monday with a sore neck, but he'll be back in the lineup a day later and will shift to the hot corner with Mike Moustakas (calf) sitting after getting injured on Monday. The 31-year-old is hitting a modest .248/.324/.366 with six home runs, 51 RBI, 39 runs scored and four stolen bases in 322 at-bats for the Reds in 2022. He's been pretty bad since the All-Star break, going 9-for-49 (.184) with no home runs, five RBI, eight runs scored and 11 strikeouts in 15 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
