3 years agoWashington Nationals relief pitcher Kyle Finnegan earned the win in relief Monday, throwing the eighth and ninth innings in a 4-3 victory over the New York Mets. He allowed one hit and one walk while striking out two batters. He now has five wins on the season, and has allowed a grand total of four earned runs in 25 appearances since the beginning of July. If the Nationals were winning more games, he'd be a top-15 closing option, and he is an underrated add for the stretch run.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
