3 years agoWashington Nationals relief pitcher Kyle Finnegan was saddled with a blown save and a loss Thursday after four unearned runs came around to score against him in the top of the ninth inning against the Philadelphia Phillies. Finnegan gave up three hits and a walk while striking out one batter. It's Finnegan's second blown save of the season, but it's hard to blame him for this one. Finnegan remains locked in as the closing option for the gutted Nationals, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect many opportunities for him (or anyone else) as Washington is expected to lose most of its games going forward.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
