Kyle Finnegan Notches Sixth Save
3 years agoWashington Nationals relief pitcher Kyle Finnegan recorded his sixth save of the year Friday night, setting down three of the four New York Mets he faced in a 2-1 victory. His only baserunner reached via walk, and he did not strike out a batter. Finnegan has now gone seven consecutive outings without allowing an earned run, and he has a 2.77 ERA and 1.42 WHIP with 51 strikeouts in 52 innings across 55 appearances this season. All six of his saves have come in his last 13 games, and he figures to be a decent pickup for desperate fantasy managers.
