Kyle Freeland Throws Bullpen Session Thursday
3 years agoColorado Rockies pitcher Kyle Freeland (hamstring) threw a bullpen session on Thursday and "felt fine." He exited Monday's start early with hamstring cramping. The 28-year-old threw from 120 feet and felt good after Thursday's bullpen session. He will do some fielding practice on Friday and the Rockies will determine his status for Saturday's start. Freeland owns a 6.54 ERA, 1.80 WHIP, and a 26:13 K: BB across 31 2/3 innings in 2021. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere even if the Rockies left-hander can make his start Saturday against the Cardinals.
