Kyle Freeland Throws Seven Shutout Innings For Win
2 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Kyle Freeland was at the top of his game Monday night, throwing seven shutout innings against the Milwaukee Brewers to earn the win. He gave up just four hits and one walk while striking out seven batters, raising his record to 5-7 and dropping his ERA and WHIP to 4.64 and 1.36, respectively, in 108 2/3 innings this year. This start breaks up a streak of three straight outings with at least four earned runs allowed. Freeland remains off the fantasy radar.
