Kyle Gibson Allows Just Two Earned Runs In Loss
6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson was let down by the defense behind him in a 6-3 loss to the New York Yankees on Friday. Gibson went five innings, allowing five runs, two of which were earned. He wound up striking out five in the ballgame. Gibson has been pitching better of late, allowing just five earned runs over his past three starts. Gibson has some potential and can be useful in deeper leagues as a streamer. He will face the Blue Jays in Toronto for his next start in what appears to be a favorable spot to use him.
