Kyle Gibson Blanks O's Over Six Innings
7 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson turned in a solid first start of the 2018 season, holding the Baltimore Orioles scoreless over six innings. Gibson didn't allow a hit, but he did issue five walks in the game while striking out six. The wildness prevented Gibson from being able to try for the no-hitter as he found the strike zone with just 56 of his 102 pitches. Despite the solid start, exercise caution with Gibson in fantasy leagues as he hasn't been a very trustworthy fantasy option over his career. He will look to keep it going in his next start against the Seattle Mariners.
