4 years agoTexas Rangers pitcher Kyle Gibson allowed just one run during the club's 3-1 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Monday. He struck out six batters and issued just one walk in six innings of work. The veteran right-hander continued a string of seven straight games with at least six innings pitched. During that stretch, he's allowed more than one run just twice and he has yet to give up more than three runs in a game this season. Gibson is throwing six pitches and all have been effective. His new cutter is generating whiffs at a rate of 43%, which is excellent. Both his sinker and his slider have also been above-average offerings this year.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
