Kyle Gibson Continues To Disappoint
6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson allowed four runs in 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision on Tuesday. Gibson struck out four and walked three in the 6-5 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. It has been a disappointing start to the season for Gibson, who has a 7.36 ERA, 1.77 WHIP, and 12 strikeouts in 14 2/3 innings of work. He was an interesting sleeper candidate at the beginning of the season after his strong 2018 campaign but it is getting increasingly hard to justify rostering him at this point. Gibson has some bounce-back potential in his next start, which is scheduled to come against the Baltimore Orioles.
