Kyle Gibson Dominates Royals on Friday
5 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson was dominant in a 2-0 win over the Kansas City Royals on Friday. Gibson pitched eight shutout innings in the game. He struck out six and allowed just two hits in the win. The win improves Gibson's record to 7-3 with a 3.70 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 77 strikeouts in 75 1/3 innings of work. Gibson has shown to be a quality, back-end fantasy starter who should continue to win plenty of games pitching for the division-leading Twins. He will face the Boston Red Sox in his next start.
