5 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson was excellent in an 11-1 win over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday. Gibson held Chicago to one run over six innings while striking out nine and walking just one. The veteran right-hander picked up the win, improving his record to 10-4 with a 4.10 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and 118 strikeouts in 116 1/ 3 innings of work. Gibson isn't the most consistent fantasy hurler but he has shown improved strikeout upside this season and he is a candidate for a win whenever he takes the mound in front of a loaded Twins offense. Gibson will look to keep rolling in his next start, which comes against the Kansas City Royals on Saturday.--Matt T - RotoBaller
