Kyle Gibson Gives Up Four Runs At Home
4 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Kyle Gibson was not at his best on Monday night, and the Seattle Mariners made him pay. In a 10-2 loss to open the series, Gibson allowed nine hits, four earned runs, one walk, and one home run while striking out two. It was the first bad start of the 2020 season for Gibson. The righty came into the game with a 2.45 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 11 innings. The Mariners beat up most of the Rangers' pitchers on Monday, and they have quietly scored 5.75 runs per game on the road. Gibson was a trendy pick up in season-long formats because of his two starts, but after this disastrous outing, he may be dropped in a lot of leagues.
