3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Kyle Gibson threw 106 pitches but turned in a decent outing in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Braves. Gibson pitched 5 innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk with eight strikeouts. The 34-year-old is now 3-2 with a 3.94 ERA, 45 strikeouts, and 14 walks over nine starts and 48 IP this season. He isn't the flashiest fantasy player, but he has continued to be a useful back-of-the-rotation option and is just 54-percent rostered. His next matchup will be a tougher matchup at the Mets, but he is a viable streaming option in points leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
