3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Kyle Gibson had a rough night in Miami on Friday as he allowed eight earned runs across 5 1/3 innings to the Marlins. Yikes, that's not what fantasy managers were expecting in one of the best matchups you could ask for on paper. That's why they play the games, however, and Miami had its way with Gibson in the veteran's worst start since being acquired by Philly at the trade deadline. Gibson's ERA rose to 3.30 on the season, though his 4.29 xFIP implies more regression could be on the horizon.
