3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Kyle Gibson allowed three runs across 6 2/3 innings but suffered the loss on Sunday Night Baseball against the Mets. Gibson had allowed just two runs through six innings, but served up a home run to Jeff McNeil in the seventh inning which proved to be the difference in the game. Gibson isn't the flashiest fantasy option, but he's got a solid 3.51 ERA supported by a 3.80 expected ERA with opposing batters hitting just .235 against him. Gibson is a viable starter in all fantasy leagues on Friday when he has a strong matchup against the Pirates.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
