Kyle Gibson Struggles In Loss To White Sox
5 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson struggled in a 6-4 loss to the Chicago White Sox on Monday. Gibson allowed five runs over 6 2/3 innings of work while striking out four and walking one. It goes down as a disappointing outing against a weaker opponent for the veteran right-hander. Gibson's record dropped to 11-6 with a 4.40 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 133 strikeouts in 139 innings of work. The 31-year-old has regressed this season after finally breaking out in 2018. Despite the lackluster outing on Monday, he will be a strong fantasy option in his next start, which comes against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday.
